Ladder runewords

With 2.8 I had high hopes for the unlocking of the last handful of rune words on the non-ladder realm. So far that happened on each full 0.2 advance of the patches 2.4, 2.6, etc. So does anyone have any idea when we’ll be able to make Mosaic and Metamorphosis.

Probably in the next remake of Diablo 2, 20 years from now.

Never would be my guess.

On the plus side they are cheap to buy now on NL (apart from GG roll).

john ladder like I do, I want a pair of Mosaics so I jumped in this time, ladder exclusive runewords are always extortionately expensive even for the runewords like Huslte, a week in I'm currently at lvl 59, I reckon at least one modest based Mosaic is very feasible, so if you need any ladder exclusive runeword, just go ladder it's actually pretty fun and can be motivated, I just run solo and trade accordingly.

Well, obviously, I want to use the GG bases I already have
Also, I would rather not delete a level 93 or 94 so I can play the stupid ladder again

Agree ladder is stupid just to get a few rune words you can trade for in nl now.

if blizzard add new runewords on a new ladder, the ladder only runewords we have now turn to non ladder pushed out by new ladder only runewords..

Since the release of D2R, Blizzard has been using new runewords as a new ladder season draw, but I think they've run out of ideas and as a result are holding on to the last few not released to NL to try and keep ladder alive.

Well, a couple times. Not consistently since release. And not in quite a few seasons.
They're not out of ideas, they just largely stopped all work on D2:R a long time ago.

No "not consistently" because a single set of ladder rune words could pull for a couple of seasons or more. It was all stretched out to herald the arrival of Diablo IV. Season one (April 28/29, 2022) added seven rune words, but none were added to season two. Season two did add (September 22, 2022) Terrorized Zones along with Sunder Charms for both Ladder and Non Ladder. Season three (February 8, 2023), saw eight new rune words added including the Mosaic. Remember, Ladder Season three only ran for three months before Season four started on May 4, 2023, just one month before the release of Diablo IV on June 5, 2023, and that was the end of Blizzard's interests in D2R rune words and significant improvements.
