Haha, no secret here. Only I have waited till I found an elite glove and the jewel was a rare one. But I don't think those are the factors here. Just chance I suppose.

Do keep on crafting with "crap" jewels it has no factor on the outcome of the item crafted. The outcome is RNG.

Did anyone ever find a rare weapon with more than 300% ed?

In theory, you can get up to 450% ed with two preffixes:
- "x% ed" (up to 300)
- "x% ed Y ar" (up to 150)

Confirmed, on my screenshot a couple of posts back, that

Champion Sword has 306% enhanced damage.

I find that

Thunderstroke is still a very good option, even outperforming lancers in certain situations (ubers, for example), but the 40 ias just gives you sooo much flexibilty, like wearing Enigma and still being able to reach 90 ias breakpoint for ridiculous stabbing speed.
