Is there a way to start a game on a specific act (in special Act1)? (online)

Description

(online play)

Hi

Sometimes I farm more then one act on each game (sometimes I like to do Cows,
Chaos Sanctuary
and
Baal
in the same game for example) and, to do that repeating the same order on each game, I have to change acts each time I start a new game...

Is there a way to exit a game on one act and start the next game on other?
(without enter/create another game between)

(my computer sometimes struggle to load when I change acts... - so one less load will be good 😉)

I think this feature is available on consoles :)

Where u can exit the game and start a new gameroom and get to select your act to start in…

On PC , i dont think there is a way for this

Once u exit the game, whatever act you were in when u exited will be the act you will start n load in

Can trade on PC or SWITCH

There is a helpful way to address load times though. You can unpack the files and reference the unpack, there are instructions online (search youtube for improving d2r load times mr llama). The downside is that you have to unpack it again after each patch.

Maybe do Cow, CS, WSK one game and then next game do WSK, CS, Cows, and then back to Cows, CS, WSK?

All trades can be accomplished via PC or xbox. All reasonable offers will be considered and probably accepted.

I prefer to do Cows first (even if the extra load...)

Create the thread, because maybe there was a trick to start on the act you want on online mode... But seems to have none 😓😓

I personally always try to log out in act4....

1.. because i have access to waypoint stash vendors very close to starting position
2.. its the fastest load time

Good thing that's not a concern anymore... :D
:(

But yeah, no way to "force a different act" on PC afaik. It just starts you off wherever you last left. That's why personally, I like to do CS last as A4 starts you off right next to the waypoint, meaning you can go just about anywhere. Loading time from A4 to a different act's zone to start seems longer than within the same act but the proximity to the WP tends to make up for that.

Side note:
Disabling framerate sync and
Cap
massively improves loading times (for me at least). None of that unpacking effort needed.
The downside of course being that depending on your setup, it may then lead to screen tearing and whatnot which is why I personally don't use it and just suffer the shit load times.
