I came back to D2r after being away for a few months. Hadn't played since they introduced Terror zones.
Did my first Terror zone in the catacombs with my zealer. I popped a chest and got a Gul rune. Great luck for my first game since being away for so long.
Next day I did a Frigid Highlands run and on my hammerdin and killed shenk. Saw a rune on the Ground and thought it said Sol. I was mistaken as it was a Sur rune.
If they increased the drop rates of upper mid and high runes, I'm happy. Played Legacy D2 for years and it took me so long to find runes of that caliber. I've had much better luck on D2R.
Probably the game saying "hey, welcome back". No change that I know of drop chance.

I took a quick break from work to run cows. I was distracted and teleported directly into a pack of cows and died. I was just about to save+exit in frustration but decided I didn't want the hassle of getting a new leg, so I just ran and got my gear.
I'm glad I did that because one of the cows my merc killed in the scuffle dropped a Perfect 15/13 Superior Dusk Shroud with 3os.
Now I just gotta bring myself to sell the thing =)
