Hi D2 community !
Question about Breath of the Dying!

will Bramble up a
Poison Nova
dmg from Breath of the Dying, if, for example, we give
Frenzy
from act 5:

1. Dual Breath of the Dying (on PB) , 50% Chance To Cast Level 20
Poison Nova
When You Kill An Enemy * 2 = 100% Chance To Cast on
Phase Blade

2. Bramble (for UP dmg from
Poison Nova
) => this is actually the question of whether it will increase the damage <=
3.
Arreat's Face
or Cure I play non ladderer so
Arreat's Face
or
Guillaume's Face

I have 2
Zod
runes lying around and a Bramble, I want to try to give my measure that goes with poison necro.
Has anyone tried to make such a merc? I'm going to test, I didn't find any information on the Internet, maybe someone knows, maybe there is something to see about this?

For your first point that's not how it works. The 50% work for each weapon individual and are not added together. So with two times Breath of the Dying you get 50% chance to cast psn
Nova
(with one you would have an effective chance of only 25%).

edit: Forget that. I was thinking about chance to cast on attack or strike but botd has chance to cast when you kill an enemy. Not sure how that works.
edit2: Seems it works the same. So my first guess was correct. Thanks @ShadowHeart for the clarification.

why does it work with Mosaic and does not work with BoTD ? main is no stack or no stack chance to proc
Poison Nova
, main is buffup from Bramble
Poison Nova
or not

Because Mosaic is not a Chance to Cast (CtC) effect.

When you have % Chance to Cast on a weapon, it only applies when that weapon is swung. Some effects, when appearing on weapons, only apply when that weapon is swung (like CtC on Attack/Striking/Kill, but also Crushing Blow, Deadly Strike, and some more), and some bonuses always apply (like + skills, + stats, the Mosaic chance to not spend charges, and more).

Note: CtC when Struck on a weapon counts always, because the effect is not tied to a weapon swing, the effect will happen even if you stand still and do nothing.

I'm in CET (Central European Time), so that's UTC+1 normally and UTC+2 during DST.
My profile says Ladder, but I play both Ladder and Non-Ladder.

Yes, Bramble will increase the damage.

Keep in mind that the base damage of the Poison Novas from Breath of the Dying will be fairly low because it will be unsynergized. The CtC effect will cast it as if a Necromancer had level 20
Poison Nova
but 0 points in
Poison Dagger
and
Poison Explosion
. It's only 400-something over 2 seconds, so 200-something damage per second. Bramble would increase this by up to 50%, but that's still only up to 600-something damage over 2 seconds.

If a Necromancer wielded Breath of the Dying, and had invested in
Poison Dagger
and
Poison Explosion
, the Poison Novas from Breath of the Dying would do a lot more damage because then it would be synergized by those skills.

It works similarly, but there are some quirks.

According to Amazon Basin's article on When You Kill An Enemy :
...when an enemy is killed by the weapon damage, weapon or skill poison damage, or Open Wounds of the equipping player character, mercenary or
Iron Golem
, without costing any mana.

From the link: "Chance to Cast When You Kill an Enemy gives a percentage chance to use a skill when an enemy is killed by the weapon damage, weapon or skill poison damage, or Open Wounds of the equipping player character". Does this only apply to poison damage done by weapons with poison damage on it, or will my poisonmancer with his own
Poison Nova
trigger the Chance? Would be awesome to have a chain reaction of posion
Nova
. Another question: What affects the
Poison Nova
dmg on the weapon if i am a skilled out poisonmancer with +skill gear?
