This comes 2 days after I sold a 400/31 Grief I crafted for 5 Ber. I already have 7 Ber runes sitting in my stash. WTF is with my insane luck this season?!
By the way, 20 minutes before I picked up this GC, I found a Lo rune.

Sold the GC for 14 Jah runes and 1 Ber rune. Wow. I guess my Travincal WW horker is gonna get an Act 5 Merc with dual Last Wish Phase Blades or something just gross like that.

What's "really lucky" about finding a very common Stormshield that goes for 2-3 Ral runes / Perfect Amethysts on Ladder?
Well, everyone has a different idea of luck depending on their level of Wealth and how often they get to play, I can see why a Stormshield is lucky for someone who has never found one before, it's a useful item after all. Tbh I don't think I have ever actually found one myself, only ever traded for one.
It's also luckier than anything I've found over the past few weeks, definite dry spell over here.

Oh yeah I gotta give some context, I have around 50 MF in total ( to bases and runes), it's an online game (p1 as you can see) and I started playing d2r a couple weeks ago, I always played d2 LoD before so it's fresh start for me. That's why I counted it lucky to drop from a common ghoul lord

I currently have a 1/12 Faith (result of a donation from the excellent @kimaalfr), and as a generous friend gave me a Jah and a recently obtained Ohm (thanks Schnorki for buying torch!) the lust for rerolling took me.
Did that this morning. Was hoping for a +2 at least, anything better on Fanat was bonus. Got 2/14, one from perfect. Yeah !
PS. For the ones that think "rerolling Faith is a bit of waste of good runes", that's very true. But there is not a single 4 os +3 GMB on the market now...

Level 14 Fanat is quite decent. You're among many who've settled for a +2 GMB and are happy with the result.

My very first Annihilus about 18 years ago was on my Frozen Orb Sorceress she was level 71 when Diablo Clone spawned. I tried and failed for a half hour before throwing up the Bat signal in general chat asking for help. A Smiter Pally came to my rescue and dispatched DC in no time flat. He stuck around and asked what the stats were, I went to Deckard Cain and had him identify my item. It was a 20/20/10, I was still new to the game and had zero clue how rare this was. When I told the pally what the stats he called me a liar, I even went as far as throwing the anni down to let him look at it. But that must have threw up red flags for him thinking I was trying to scam him because he cussed me out an left.
It’s been good a day! In the morning my trav barb horked a Jah, it’s nice but in and of itself wasn’t that lucky, I’ve been farming runes for a while with no success, so I was due.
So I made a Phoenix with the Jah, threw it in my Fireball sorc and started to play around, for fun I did a countess run: double Key drop - sweet! countess keys are the worst to farm.
So then I change over to my frost maiden to level her up a bit, going through Upper Kurast a Mal rune drops from a trash mob, ok cool.
I make my way through the durance of hate (longest map ever, and no tele sux, no wonder what it’s the durance of), kill meph - the quest kill, with a whooping 25 mf - he drops a unique ring. Interesting, I would love a Wisp Projector, but it turns out to be a Stone of Jordan!
I've gotten pretty lucky quite a few times. Toward the end of ladder S2 on my sorc, had a Ber drop from council before Mephisto. Was doing terrorized Travincal runs one day, had a +43 life Pcomb skiller drop. Traded that for 4x Ber runes. Also had a perfect Griffon's Eye drop in the pits last season. My jaw dropped when that happened. Still got in on non-ladder. In season 3, my drops haven't been quite as lucky yet, but I did make a +6 bo cta and a +39 resist hoto. So I felt that was pretty lucky. A lot of my lucky drops happened after days of finding nothing. I got much more lucky with drops back in S2 so far.
It gets discouraging sometimes, but if you just keep at it, your luck can drastically change with just one drop.
