Bots will be bots...

So here's a fun happening:
Seems our friendly neighborhood botters broke their dclone game-making and forgot to set a password.
"Oh, so like 150ish accounts? Dayum...but...that's not enough for 3+ walks already!"

Yeah, well, the list goes on...
There's literally thousands of bot-games just sitting pretty on Asia atm, getting their clones jacked by random pugs.

but, how did the bots come to hell? is the ki of the bots so good, that they can go through the game without any human help?

Please post it also on the official forum, so the developers more players are aware.

Can't say I've used any of them (or even know where you'd get them these days) but from what I've seen in terms of bot vids and following some bots in-game, they're actually far worse than they used to be 20 years ago. Though that might just be because getting data out/input in isn't quite as straight forward as it was with the open packets back then.

Either way, they don't really need any advanced AI. The game is fairly straight forward and processes (read: farming behavior) are pretty much always the same.

Back then, the better bots were reliably outperforming most players.
Now..they seem to just be stumbling around a lot and repeatedly don't even manage to leave town successfully.

Then again, DD voice recognition back then was also decades ahead of what google thinks you said today so at this rate, by the time skynet arrives terminators will be stumbling off the factory line, immediately breaking all servos in their body and d2 bots won't even be able to enter a game name anymore because they're too dumb to enter a game name. In either case, blizz will still pretend they don't even exist to begin with.
