Word is that Gheed is now bankrupt and somewhat depressed... the fortune he has accumulated all these years, gone
It was awesome while it lasted... buying coronets and sometimes selling them back for a profit was a very bizarre feeling. 10 mill gold and I got a nice javazon Circlet.
Please do not add me on BNet without a comment on a trade posting.
I do not accept any rune lower than Lem for trades, with the exception of Ral.
The buff was persistent but I closed my PC anyway. Was fun while it lasted but it took a serious toll on my sleep.
I have nothing of real worth to show for it either. A few decent coronets that could sell for an Ist or a Gul but I couldn't justify leaving the game open any longer. Good night all.
For those that still want to experience this vendor discount, go find a pub game that have been up for more than 7+hrs, the buff should remain in that game until the room is no more.
I have been hitting the casino for about 13 hours total. I conjured more than a 100 million gold from selling Perfect Skulls.
I estimate that I have gambled between 4000 and 6000 coronets and circlets, plus around 1000 Jewlery at level 92.
No uniques, no sets, except 2 Cathan rings. I got some nice rares though: a few 2/20s and a few rings around 3-3,5 points.
Was able to continue 3.5+ hours after the deadline. My head is spinning slightly as I return to the world.
Went mostly for gloves. Had 2 shitty uniques but a few nice 2/20 as well, and even a 3/20 jav.
Other stuff I kept was more leveling gear for the next couple of builds I have in mind.
after about 8 hours straight of gambling and being quite tired/losing Concentration, i accidentally sold my torch by spamming ctrl+click to sell all the gambled junk.

That was a crazy night & day.. Kinda glad it's over as I stayed up my latest yet for d2 and am exhausted. Gambled from like midnight to 7am, slept a few hours then gambled again from 11am to 5pm or whenever they restarted the realm. Felt like a casino addict at the slot machine! Could not let the opportunity for infinite gold pass me by (big thanks to Queegon for the heads up on that!!) Will probably be seeing Gheed in my dreams tonight..
Was mostly disappointing though, didnt get any good coronets/circlets worth keeping, only 1 halfway decent Zon amulet, but right at the end I gambled this ring:
Not bad for lvl 35.. Might even be an upgrade for my Zon. What do you guys think? Anyone else get an item that made it worth while?

That's a great ring. It's almost identical to what I use on my javazon. Yours has more AR, a much more significant and relevant resist (mine is 6% poison), and 1% more life leech.
