That's a lot of energy on that last version! So there is actually a nighttime modifier in the game code, that's really interesting. Makes me wonder what the story is behind that and why it never made it into the final version.

could be for future content :peepothink:

also, these stats. they are crazy high somehow.
+32/+32 is solid already, but 64 strength AND 271 life?
reminds me of diablo3 somehow ...
the last one has to be a bug. or diablo3 :D

oh, just saw. 52 mf on an amulet is also nuts. oh shit that's a minus :D

Too bad it only impacts the chat.
The fully random item in the middle of the game would be crazy to play with. :)

It seems that chat previewing function is so poorly written, that it mistakes certain amulet's byte code for a pointer to some other Memory area, which happens to contain some unrelated game data (visual assets, sounds, AI, some kind of cache - anything that changes frequently).

Having read this unrelated piece of bytes, chat tries to interpret it as it were item properties, that's why it looks so wrong.

Such kind of error is widely known in coding, but i guess its forgivable for a small indie company...
