For anyone struggling with d-clone, you need to hit him once with a physical attack with something that has prevent monster heal. CTA has it, but also you can shop various weapons that have it from town. Equip your sorc (or whatever) with it and hit him once (successfully, make take 30 swings or more). After you've hit him, he won't heal for 2.5 hrs.

I should also mention this does not work for your merc.
where does he spawn if your in town when he spawns?
He spawns at the first super unique you find. Usually I spawn him at eldritch in Frigid Highlands because it's convenient.
o gotcha, he spawned as i was killing The Countess. I bet i had a 100players join and not know where he was while i waited it out. mockingbird came and gave me a hand.
Have a dclone in my game I can't kill, I will gladly tip someone some rals and p amethysts for help.
