Oskills can be used by any class, but the skill level bonus is limited to 3 levels for the native class. Oskill levels can be increased like native skill levels, including "+skill (native class only)" bonuses.
If you are playing in Resurrected mode, each fire particle provides a decently sized radius of light, illuminating the dark slightly. The light radius increases as the flame particles travel further.
