Is there an option, that when I'm clicking on a thread link, it will either jump to the newest message or have an indicator like "from here there are new posts since your last visit"?

There's a red marker at the top right of unread posts:

I'm not sure if there's a way to jump straight to it, but scroll down until you start seeing that marker.
