Buriza-Do Kyanon

Quite possibly the best xbow of them all in D2. Although xbows are always a step behind bows, they can still prove useful in certain builds and can hold their own. The Buriza is best suited for a Bowazon, since it's effects are amplified by using

Strafe and multi-shot, inflicting freeze status and piercing multiple enemies per shot. Although lacking in build diversity and possibilities for other classes like the

Demon Machine due to DM's exploding

Bolts, Buriza makes up for this with it's hitpower potential. With a scaling max dmg per level, the Buriza is the strongest DPS exceptional xbow, and even makes the elite xbows pale in comparison, out damaging them with physical dmg. The Buriza is a great secondary choice or budget option for a bowazon, if the build wants a swap weapon to slow enemies down with the freeze and hit several targets with

Pierce, and then swap back to the primary DPS bow.

An upped Buriza can absolutely work as a budget endgame substitute for

Windforce, Faith, or Mist. It does have a high str requirement but negates the need to put skill points or dedicate gear to

Pierce. Additional gear should focus on boosting damage through %ED rather than IAS, as further breakpoints will grant only negligible benefit with this weapon.
