I agree. The little details are just too much fun to look at. I am still in awe when I am looking at my character or areas in game. If VV got something right then it is this graphical overhaul. Exactly. Unique appearances of set/unique items is something I have always wanted. This was a HUGE change for me as well as the addition of the character selection screen having a huge graphic of your character and the background of the current Act they are in.
