Can i max out the number of sockets on a
Tomb Reaver
to 3 using socket quest or
Horadric Cube
?
I am asking because info about that on the net confused me.
It is mostly said that unique weapons get only 1 socket with quest and cannot be transmuted in the cube.
But some people also say that if the item has sockets as a base stat, it can be maxed out.

You cannot use
Larzuk
's Quest or Cube Socket Recipe to reroll the sockets.
Unique items only get 1 socket from
Larzuk
's Quest if they have 0 (zero) sockets to begin with.

Tomb Reaver
is socketed as a base property. It has at least 1 socket.
So, there are no unsocketed Tomb Reavers.
That's why i am confused.

Yes,
Tomb Reaver
rolls sockets once you identify it. You cannot change the number of sockets in any way.

Tomb Reaver
will roll with either 1,2 or 3 sockets when it is created. There is no way to change that amount of sockets. so unfortunately: no adding sockets to
Tomb Reaver
