What is your favorite skill in Diablo 2?

has to be

Teleport, largely because it lets me help emilio get his act together

Poison Nova for me.
Teleporting in the middle of like 25+ monsters, and blasting the air with poison outward in every direction, painting everything green and watching their health hopelessly wither…

If this skill doesn’t make it into diablo 4 I might not get it. It’s half the reason I still play at this point lol

Lightning Fury was always one of my favorites, but now

Fist of the Heavens is also up there! I never really used it before, but I made a FoH/

Smite Paladin this ladder (thanks @Verbie), and there is something immensely satisfying about seeing a mass of Holy

Bolts flying out in unison like a wave of Death, or in all directions. It's just..... beautiful.

I'm a utility sucker.

Burst of Speed. Back in the day all my mules were assassins leveled up to use it so I could run and grab my stuff faster than anyone who was trying to steal.

That's funny, and clever lol. But a better idea might have been to make them sorcs, level them up to level 6 and then use

Telekinesis to swipe stuff up from a distance

As far as I knew you can't

Telekinesis stuff, just pots and gold. I came in mostly from 1.13 so maybe it was an earlier thing

Ah you're probably right about that, I clearly haven't been using

Telekinesis myself

Corpse Explosion hands down. Nothing like watching demons drop with a Domino effect.

Since i'm kind of 'Necro-ing' this thread, it would have been fitting to chime in with a Necromancer skill, but i'm still too green with those to really have a favorite

My absolute favorite characters are the Druid and the Amazon, and i really love their summons above all!

For the Druid i mostly like the

Cyclone Armor skill, it's a real asset, and if you focus on that from the get go, you can basically 'stroll' straight into Hell like it was nothing

For the Amazon, who has so many amazing skills to pick from, i still love the almighty

Valkyrie the most!

Even just maxing her hardpoints without synergies, she is an absolute tank: very loyal, and super useful.
Unlike most Merc's (when you don't have

Teleport) you can place her exactly where she needs to be, but i rarely have to, because she tales care of business quite well on her own

for me it would have to be

Conversion, turning minions against a unique is so fun

any skill where you click once and everything is dead.

Strafe, because it's the laziest attack skill ever. It's autoaim for mobs.

My next favorite is

Enchant. It works great in solo AND in groups.

3rd favorite is

Battle Orders, which is incredibly effective but also really boring. A must-have if you can for hell and beyond though for all classes imo.

I like

Charge suprisingly much. It's practically my de facto means of movement on Pally and it's just fun to play pinball with mobs.
