Fire sorc can do it (altough Infinity merc is recommended -with good reflexes to babysit him- + Marrowwalk Boots to prison meph), so I'd rather try with the spearzon 1st. Spearzon can be very fast against them, but can also be a bit fragile (prebuff Fade from Treachery and get as much resists\ias as you can get). theoretically with Shako, coh, mara, 2 bul katos and cta for example it would be 21 and negate Mephisto's aura while adding some 20 p.p. to lightning dmg against him.. right?

ah what a shame.. so same story with Ice on a mercenary for example, aura will always be flat level, regardless of other gear?

- Skill on attack/hit/struck/death/level up
But Synergies work - with hard skill points.
That's why some people use Act 2 Merc with Prayer + Insight ( Meditation) and Cure ( Cleansing) (both auras receives synergy bonus from Prayer)

- Skill from charges
- Skill on attack/hit/struck/death/level up
But Synergies work - with hard skill points.

2 - yep
Battle Orders/ Battle Command (from Call To Arms or from Barbarian Helms) is affected by +Skill
3 - I think the max level from Lower Resist charges is 3 at ilvl 99
