Noob question: how can Blood Gloves be useful?

I am trying to use some of my P Gems in my offline SSF play-through. I have the general idea that P

Amethyst is the most valuable because

Caster Amulet is so useful. Then I saw someone also mentioning

Blood Ring and

Blood Gloves.

Blood Ring, I can somehow understand a bit, for some physical builds that demand dual leech, but for

Blood Gloves, I really do not see any use case, despite the page saying:

It's the second most popular crafting recipe, losing only for
Caster Amulet recipe. This recipe makes the
Perfect Ruby the second most important gem in the game.

Despite the claim, my own analysis shows there is close to zero use case for

Blood Gloves.

Gloves can only spawn Assassin or Amazon skills, then think about these two classes: Bow Amazon demands Hitpower Gloves, and Javazon wants
Caster Gloves because of the 3EK. Assassin? Mosaicsin does not need the pathetic 3% or 6% LL from
Blood Gloves, and most importantly,
Magefist or
Trang-Oul's Claws are BIS for faster TP when using Enigma. Hence, no one benefiting from the skills wants to use
Blood Gloves.

Okay, then 20 IAS 10 CB is still valuable? But Smiters use
Dracul's Grasp, don't they? LL from
Blood Gloves won't work for Ubers anyway, and 10 CB is nowhere as valuable as the 5% Chance To Cast Level 10
Life Tap On Striking from
Dracul's Grasp.

Somewhere else I found people saying
Blood Gloves can be useful for PvP Bow Amazon when it has 6% LL. Well, okay, I can accept that, but there is absolutely NO WAY that this makes
Blood Gloves the second most popular crafting recipe, unless I am missing the "fact" that EVERYONE is hyped about using Bow Amazon to PvP 24/7.

In conclusion, it really confuses me. Am I missing something? What is the true reason that P

Ruby stands out from other P Gems? If we forget about

Blood Gloves, is

Blood Ring really worthy crafting? I have done no research about that.

Not all smiter's use Dracul's Grasp. My smiter, for example, doesn't. I use Exile which gives me 15% CtC Life Tap. The Blood Gloves I use are 20IAS/2ll/10CB/20life/27light res/19fire res. The 20 life is BOable and the res helps for the meph over-res. Since I don't use G-face my only other CB is from my boots.

My Fury druid and Mosaic assassin also have their own pair.

There are other uses of blood gloves too. Certain pvp paladin and barb builds can also benefit from them.

Not sure where you read this but I wouldn't put any stock into it. Leech doesn't work in pvp so that is bogus.

Most of my characters use a blood ring. Dual leech is not at valuable or sought after as you might think. Blood rings can roll with 20str, 120attack rating, min and or max dmg, res, dex, life, mana. Clearly not all of those affixes can roll on one ring, but you get the idea.

EDIT: And 10 FCR, I omitted the most important affix on a blood ring.

You didn't mention Blood Boots, and they aren't a popular craft but good rolls can be very expensive. I personally really enjoy crafting them. You can get tri-res blood boots too.

Sorry, I am not getting it. If I am not mistaken, Enigma does provide life after each kill but does not provide mana after each kill. In common builds, rings have mana leech but mana after each kill seems to be from

For smiters, yes smiters need CB, but 75% CB can be reasonably obtained from other sources. I don't know how I feel about this.

Yes I am well aware of this, but the point is, for javazon, +3 mana per kill from

Caster Gloves is presumably better than the life leech. Any rare, or crafted gloves, can spawn +2 javalin skills and 20 IAS, that is not unique to

Blood Gloves. I just do not understand the claim that

Blood Gloves are second most sought after crafted items and thus making P

Ruby worthy, when the above reply claims it is cheap (then it is not heavily sought after), and when the BIS is

Caster Gloves.

You are right about engima,
life per kill can get from multiple shield.

Blood Gloves is mainly on CB, it help single player to kill

Baal.

it is depends on build, some want to use facet, then they might want to use

Caster Gloves.

Some have enough damage, not use facet on shield, they get CB gloves. it is my current build, perfect blood amazon gloves.
I have a long time not open my amazon, my is just enough to kill regular monsters with 1 shot .

The thing you want to check is the value of

Perfect Gems.

Perfect Amethyst, it is mainly used and craft in amulet a lot.
Your idea on

Caster Gloves also make sense. If I play amazon, I can use both caster or

Blood Gloves. but I still prefer blood, only when I get

Caster Gloves material blue gloves that I will try to craft it.

The

Perfect Ruby for amulet craft is not so welcome but it can be used on bar.

In the end, if you are not so poor crafter, I will recommend use

Caster Gloves. For me, it cost too much, I will priority it to amulet then use equal or slightly week in logistic

Blood Gloves.

Craft is always good, try it. it will be interesting.

Dracul's Grasp. My smiter, for example, doesn't. I use Exile which gives me 15% CtC

Not sure where you read this but I wouldn't put any stock into it. Leech doesn't work in pvp so that is bogus.

Most of my characters use a

Blood Ring. Dual leech is not at valuable or sought after as you might think. Blood rings can roll with 20str, 120attack rating, min and or max dmg, res, dex, life, mana. Clearly not all of those affixes can roll on one ring, but you get the idea.

EDIT: And 10 FCR, I omitted the most important affix on a

Blood Ring.

Blood Boots, and they aren't a popular craft but good rolls can be very expensive. I personally really enjoy crafting them. You can get tri-res

You are right, I forgot that you can get

Life Tap on Exile. I guess a few use cases is enough to make Blood crafting the second most popular. Perhaps I had a too unrealistic expectation on

Blood Gloves.

I am use this for my amazon.

The thing is I need

Perfect Amethyst for amulet. Last few month, I use like 10k

Perfect Amethyst to craft things.
It will be impossible for me to spend the same on '

Caster Gloves' .

Blood Gloves works well, even if that means I need to use some unique shield to get mana per kill...

My top spend is

Perfect Amethyst, then

Perfect Skull.

Perfect Ruby thing is early days before I came here. At that time, it is impossible to have any

Perfect Ruby in hand and I am not the one who play(my brother). He keeps tell me , all gloves sucks . Just focus on

Blood Gloves. He play smiter, amazon.

Just because its the 2nd most popular craft doesn't mean it is crafted a lot. Caster Amulets are definitely the most popular craft, BY FAR.

As of right now on, this site, there are 77

Caster Amulet for sale, 39

Blood Ring, and 22

Blood Gloves. So

Blood Gloves is 3rd (at the moment). But even still the 2nd and 3rd most popular craft combined still doesn't even match the most popular.

Perfect smiter gloves won't roll with skills, since skills would take the place of a different usable affix. For me, perfect smiter gloves would be 20ias/3ll/10cb/20life/15str/15dex/30 light res.

Yes I know this. I actually saw this desired affix combo somewhere else but didn't really appreciate the value of

Blood Gloves for smiters. Was only considering

Dracul's Grasp, until you pointed out Exile. I just meant if during the crafting process some gloves roll +2 skill 20 IAS then can still have value for sell, though not the initial target.
