when does it end? how long are each season

Didnt the newest ladder just start last month? they usually last the 3-4 months, you got plenty of time to play.

It started may 22, there's probably 2-3 months left

They become non-ladder characters, there will be nothing distinguishing them from the rest of your non-ladder characters.

So then all the gear gets added to the same non ladder stash? What if it’s all full and there’s over flow?

On reset, your ladder stash exists alongside your non-ladder stash and becomes "remove-only". So you can safely transfer your items over to your non-ladder shared stash, you just can't put anything back that you've taken out

I started one for the first time last night see if I can get some of that ladder goodies like Cure

After the reset, when you open your non-ladder shared stash you will see a checkbox that looks like this:
Ticking it will switch to your previous ladder season shared stash, unticking it switches to your regular non-ladder shared stash. You can only remove items from it, not put something into it, so it’s not like you really have extended stash space.

Note that you will have the entirety of the next ladder season to remove all items you want to keep - the game only keeps track of the previous season’s stash stabs (not multiple previous seasons), so if you wait too long (until the next reset), anything remaining in the “previous season shared stash” will poof out of existence and be lost forever.

The checkbox automatically disappears once you have removed everything - including

Gold.
