FoH/Holy Bolt new gearing questions

Hey! Rolling a FoH/Smiter build for ladder reset and I've been finding lots of conflicting information regarding the new

Black Cleft/

Opalvein/Hellwardens Will helmet type gear that all feature + to magic skills, and - to magic res.

Plan is 20 bolt, 20 Foh, 20

Holy Shield and then either putting the rest into fana/

Smite, or hitting 25

Conviction for parties and then putting the leftovers into fana/

Smite. Want to mostly run it as a Chaos clearer with very high +skills but have some gear to swap when needed for uber boss killing.

I gathered that the

Bolts that come out of FoH cannot be affected by +/- stats since they are applied without any resistance to things labeled as undead/demon, but the single casted

Holy Bolt might benefit from +dmg. Since the character sheet is often blatantly wrong (Grief dmg/etc) can anyone help to confirm which of these skills may be affected by these types of items?

Rather not make a bunch of trades early in ladder collecting and chasing gear that won't work as expected lol.

Tl;dr - it seems

Holy Bolt is affected by magic dmg/enemy magic resist but the

Bolts from FoH are not affected.

@justinman114 is correct. I can confirm that +magic skill damage and -enemy magic res are both working for

Holy Bolt but don't do anything for the bolts from

Fist of the Heavens.
