Find Item Barbarian

I could find the patch notes for 2.4.1.2 (April 22) mentioning that the synergy is now shown [1], but I couldn't find any mentioning in the 2.4 notes of the change.
So about a year ago things were changed, right when this discussion happened.

Nope, highest you can go is 79% Find Item.

Here's the breakpoints (with maxed Find Potion):

Using 2x Heart Carvers, a magic barb Helm with +3 Find Item & +3 Warcries, 2x SoJ / BK rings, Arachnid Mesh, +2 skills chest armor (Enigma/CoH), +3 warcries amulet, seven +1 Warcries grand charms (just enough space for Gheed's and Cube), Anni and Torch, I can get up to 53 Find Item + Battle Command buff which puts me at 79% Find Item chance.

Not really worth going up that high though IMO, and believe 76% - 78% Find Item chance is the most optimal for endgame level 99 barb. My favorite is loading inventory with 7% MF small charms, getting up to about 800% MF, along with 77% Find Item chance. Almost never miss a hork, and get a TON of uniques.

If you really wanted to, you could push Find Item up to lvl 56:
- 3 warcries/3 Find Item barb helmet
- 3 warcries neck
- Dual carvers
- Any +2 chest armor
- Double BK/SoJ
- Arachnid
- Torch
- Anni
- 9x warcry skiller

Add in the 20 base plus 1 from Battle Command and 56 it is. But yeah, that's still "only" a 79% chance with syn which remains the theoretical maximum.

It would switch to 80 at skill lvl 60 but afaik there's no way to actually reach that.

Either way, hardly worth actually shooting for that. Or rather, if you do decide to go for that..do go all out with a CTA/+3 on switch and an additional +3 BO on the helmet so you can hook your parties up with the world's most glorious BO.
