I think I got the biggest fail drop ever yesterday from Hell Diablo: a

Scroll of Town Portal.

That's it. That was all I got.

Seems I was quite lucky with my

Duriel then

Not necessarily a fail drop, but I was just doing Ubers with my smiter, the minis went down easy and I go in to

Tristram and separate meph, but right before entering

Tristram I had swapped my

Archon Plate Duress for my merc’s Treachery for the pre-buff…but I forgot to pre-buff and also forgot our armours were switched… so yea went in with bad resists and meph one shot-ed me with lightning. no big deal I’ll just get my merc back, pre buff properly this time and … oh no, I literally spent all my money gambling earlier today and didn’t restock. F@#$

Anyways I sell some gems to find my Duress on the merc, F@#$ me again, oh well I’ll make it work, pop into the portal… with a meph blizzard waiting for me, loaded to a Death screen. F f f f f f f f f

Tried a few more times, even went to the blood more and punched a few guys to Death until an armour dropped so I could get the merc back and draw the fire a bit. I did manage to get my corpse back and tried to run back through the portal, but kept clicking on one of the many other corpses around the portal aaaaand Death.

Damn that’s frustrating… maybe a bit worse than dropping a 10/10 Druid torch

That was more of a fail journey, and reminds me of my first time trying to kill

Uber Diablo by myself while I waited on someone to join and help me.

Geting close and fail hurts more than just not picking up

Death's Web drop in D2R... and likely the last.

I wasn't aware that this is even possible but I just started a new character and killed

The Countess for her Quest. Not a single rune. Neither from her nor from her chest.

Yeah, happens once every twenty-ish runs. Still super frustrating.

But isn't she supposed to give me at least one rune when doing her quest? I mean sure when you run her again could happen but during the quest?

There's no guarantee she'll drop runes, not even on the first kill. She has 3 drop chances from her special rune TC that are all greatly weighted in your favour (assuming you killed her on P1 for low chances @ non-rune item drops). Even so, it's always possible to get nothing except junk.

Was playing online when the message about Dclone appeared. Was super happy to get my 2nd Anni ! until I identified it... yes read carefully, worst roll on each stat... Kinda unique in a sense
