I recently made a Malice for my act 2 merc and was surprised to see that the drain life effect seems to not affect him at all. Is this a glitch? Are there other affixes that do not affect mercs?

It seems like the mercenaries have a pretty substantial life regen. I wonder if your guy is being affected by it and it's just being overcome by his regen.
