Battle.net allows you to make a persistent game that lasts for a little while (I've heard as much as 5 minutes) when the game is empty. I've used this feature to trade Khalim's Will between characters. I figured in this way I could get two dclones for the price of one. Especially with the asia servers rolling so fast and predictably.
This was my plan. I hang out in game for 20 minutes or whatever it takes for the next predicted dclone spawn. As the tracker hits 4/6 or so, I exit my game and make a new one. As soon as dclone spawns, I kill him. Then I return to the old game which has not been empty for more than a minute or so.
...but the old game is gone.
These are games that I would expect to have been persistent for longer than the amount of time I was away. It seems like if dclone spawns when a game is empty, the game is killed. Has anyone else tried this or can anyone else confirm?
Thanks.
