If I equip an item with better chance of finding magic items in one of my mercenary’s equipment slots, does that get added to my character’s magic find?
For example if I put Tarnhelm on my merc, will I get the 50% magic find?

If you kill the monster, the loot that drops is based off your magic find only. If the mercenary kills the monster, the loot that drops is based off your magic find plus the merc’s magic find too.
For example, you have 200 MF and your merc has 100 MF:

What if my merc don’t have mf , if he kill does it stack my mf ?
@tatoo yes, it would use your MF as well:

Exactly like you said, and the same thing applies to minions, if you're a summoning Necro or Druid and your minions kills an enemy, the loot drops based on you characters magic find (because minions doesn't have magic find by it's own)Teebling wrote: 2 years ago @tatoo yes, it would use your MF as well:
