Game crashs due to NVIDIA GeForce Driver 566.03 on NVIDIA RTS 3070.

Description

Just like title says, I installed GeForce Driver 566.03 through NVIDIA GeForce Experience, and now the game becomes unplayable. Most of the cases are non-responding with 100% CPU usage, even it is really hard to bring Task Manager up. Another rare case is the game shuts itself off.
Anyone else experienced such trouble?

use a program like msi afterburner, and also make sure your anti virus system doesn't interfere with the game
if nothing works you can always go back to the previous video card driver
I play on 4 accounts at once on my 2080 and I have no issues, but I haven't installed the latest Nvidia driver, as my wife has a 3080 and is not able to play Elden Ring as she did before the driver update, something is going on affecting multiple video cards in some games

Hard to say this is a proof but at least a sign.

Actually, before Driver 566.03, I already had the same problem. The only difference was that I could “reset” the game by using "End task" from Task Manager to stop the game once, after that the game seemed fine.
Then the huge issue came with 566.03, I tried online / offline modes, nothing works.
And due to the driver is being installed from NVIDIA GeForce experience app, I can't even roll back the driver. I had to uninstall the device first, then using Windows Update app to find right and old driver from Microsoft's Windows 11. At the end, I installed Driver 537.70 which dated back to January 24, 2024.
This time the game is running normal like before.
Since D2R is the only game I am playing, I think I would never update the driver unless I have to.

I think thats bad advice. If something is burning up your CPU already, why would you let it burn up even more GPU as well?? Overclocking is never a solution to basic problems.

No trading via PM please ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯

Haha, that's what it is all about — an overclocking tool. I never thought about at all. Because I know it must be a driver issue. Anyway, it seemed working fine as of now. Hopefully it last.

I've actually been having problems with Helldivers II since the latest update. I don't usually take issues too seriously because I'm still rocking my good ol 1080 and expect it to be degrading, but I am on the list of those with problems of late. Hopefully they get it resolved!
