Is there a consensus on this? With a standard act 2 merc (fort/andy’s or Duress/gface).
I think i have every base from just leveling up all my characters, but if one was superior I’d probably re-roll it until i get good damage, aura and the Critical Strike…

Great Poleaxe because you will be (or at least should be) using Prayer merc and Cure with it (and most likely fortitude) meaning zero additional IAS.
Slightly worse in second place is giant thresher.
Thresher is weaker GT.
Cryptic axe is worse than all previous at 0 IAS.
Colossus voulge is the worst here because it can't be paired with cure without andariel's visage or concessions on the body slot.
All of the above is assuming same %ED rolls, so a higher roll of CA can get better than average roll GPA, and so on.
If you don't want to use Cure and go with andariel's visage (and IAS jewel), colossus voulge at 4+% more ED than cryptic axe beats CA, otherwise CA wins.
Without IAS jewel, same results as with 0 IAS.
