Description

I've got three imbue quests available with a new
Frenzy
barb and some perfect skulls lying around. My question is:
Tiara
vs
Diadem
, is one superior to the other?

Can be used to make Runewords:

Diadem is guaranteed to be able to roll any affix regardless of its ilvl. The 6 perfect skull cube recipe will reduce the ilvl each reroll, but this won't matter for Diadems. Even at ilvl 1 it can roll any affix.

For Tiaras, there's a similar effect, but the "floor" for affix level is lower. It's 83, so some affixes might not be possible to roll, depending on the ilvl.

Offers of perfect amethysts,
Hel
runes, tokens, and keys are also welcome.

This post was marked as the best answer.

I'm in CET (Central European Time), so that's UTC+1 normally and UTC+2 during DST.
My profile says Ladder, but I play both Ladder and Non-Ladder.

And that perfectly answers my question. Thank you

I'm sitting g on 33 or so unused imbue from
Charsi
right now. It doesn't feel as important as it did in classic d2 where I would have definitly used it on ancient armour.

If I choose to use them up I would probably spam sacred armour, maybe ogre mauls though. Not that I would expect anything good to spawn.

One of the better items to imbue are ethereal throwing weapons for barbarian...

Think either stygian pilums or ghost glaives take the cake. You don't need to hit replenish on them and you can't reroll ethereal weapons with skulls, so apart from finding them in the wild, this is the only other ok way to farm.

If you get a PM offer, post it in the trade. Promote healthy competition instead of settling for less. ;)

Wait... you can imbue ethereal? I had no idea/never tried/thought I couldn't.

This is totally news to me.

Yeah, you can imbue ethereal items, and they will retain the ethereal flag after imbuing. You can't imbue socketed items, however.

I am going to have to keep that in mind the next time I run into an ethereal
Ogre Maul
.
