What Christmas events are you looking forward to the most ?

Hello D2 Community !!

I wanted to ask, do you remember last year there were Christmas and New Year's events in the game,
From December 13 to 22:00 on January 4, every 24 hours, the fabric of Sanctuary's reality will change: a new feature of the gameplay for the next day will be indicated in the "Message of the Day". The festive event "22 nights of Horror" will be held in all game modes, except for the classic version of Diablo II.

what kind of new surprise are you waiting for the most every day ?

Let me share my expectations:

1. 24 hours TerrorZone of Moo-Moo lvl
2. 24 hours TerrorZone of Worldstone Keep,

Throne of Destruction

Baal zone lvl
3. 24 hours Extra Experience
4. Magic Find increased by 100%

....

10.000% extra experience combined with 24/7 CS TZ might make me finally take a break from BG3 for a bit.

Though I doubt they'd go that far (if they do anything at all again that is).

The infinite gambling was the real feast last time.

I want to find some crazy rings !

It would be nice if they somehow made it possible for offline players as well… although i know it’s nearly impossible if it’s tied to time because we can just set our device clocks to whenever… maybe a new quest that rewards an item that when activated gives the player 24 hours of that infinite gambling?

Runewords rolling only in the top 10% of all the possible outcomes.

I could go through my rune stash down to zero and, high chances, having something to show for it in the end.

What I'm not looking forward to is....?

I'd be content with just ANY new content. I wasn't playing D2R last year so I missed out on all the fun. I just get to read stories about infinite gambling and 24-hr TZ cows. The "good ol' days".

Seeing how you're specifically looking to abuse broken mechanics/oversights in design to cheat your way into infinite gambling (bans or no bans, let's be honest, that's exactly what it was), you really don't have to wait for a christmas event or some special 24h drop to do that in single player..just clone your save files for endless gold and you're done. Easily doable whenever you please, pretty much the same amount of broken design abuse but probably actually far more convenient for you as a quick save copy/paste is faster than vendoring 230490242934829843 items back and forth.

(exceptions might apply on consoles I guess, still never looked into those)

Was going to recommend same thing xD. Could also probably get away with using Cheat Engine to Memory edit infinite gold.. But I haven't tested that with this game and not sure if easily done like with other games. EDIT: Nvm, forgot Nate was on console. Maybe Gameshark is still a thing? (JK)

And as for the topic question, infinite gold was my favorite last year. I actually managed to gamble not one, but two Griffons (18/13 and 20/14) by pulling all-nighters each of the days (I think infinite gold buff happened 3 times). Really messed my clicker finger up for a while though! Took 3-4 months before it felt normal again. But still using those Griffons to this day, so definitely worth it for myself

Would really like a full 24 hours of Worldstone and/or

Travincal TZ as well, but doubt that will happen.

Wow, that is way more than I thought.

I'm no dev, but even I can deduce that these changes are simply adjusting a few values in config files, yea? So hopefully they gives us something for 2023.

people don't always think of us as people

Oh, I have nothing against console players, don't get me wrong.
I just don't play this type of game on any console myself. Hence no testing, no experience and no clue how it works there.
