Where are the magic/rare: amulets, rings, charms, jewels on this website?
I dont find them in the database tab nor in the search.

Magic (blue name) & rare (yellow name) items are randomly generated, they are not preset. There's millions of possible combinations of magic items and billions of possible combinations of mods on rare items, there's no way to make a database of all possible combinations. Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're looking for?

Rares are randomly generated so i'm not sure there would really be a way of documenting them like that

I don't think it would be efficient to have one entry for each possible magic either. Maybe each base item could include a list of their possible prefixes/suffixes. Magic items aren't autofilled in the search like uniques are but you search them by name just the same, and rares you can search using the "stats" filters

It has been suggested in the past to add all magic/rare item affixes to the database - someone (can't remember who it was) started preparing a spreadsheet for Teebling to be able to easily incorporate it into the site, but I think it was never completed.

The site already has tech that extracts attributes from screenshots, right? An attribute list for each type of item could just be extracted from the historical of all attributes ever listed on any item via the auto extraction. If an attribute has never appeared, it wouldn't be an option - but then again it would mean no such items have ever existed for sale, so it's potentially fine.

(Afaik) it's just ocr on d2io so you'd need write something to discern what is an item attribute from all the other text in the screenshot. Which is made even more complicated by the ocr misreading screenshots (+11 as +|| lol) let alone like hazy tv phone pictures where the ocr is crying and throwing up trying to read it, plus users who play in different languages etc.

Maybe could be useful to create a dataset that human volunteers could then sift thru manually

Sure, but all the affix data exists in readable text files (in tabular form) within the game - it just has to be interpreted and converted into a format that is fit for storing in the site database. And some new database pages need to be created, one for each affix, and a new section for affixes. But once the data exists in the database, it could theoretically be cross referenced by the trade system. But I don’t know if any of this is will actually ever be added to the site, it’s not my call per se.

Back in 05' on pure Dream I found a blue Matriarch bow and spent 10-20 hrs rolling for ed %. Eventually I gave up my quest for a perfect bowazon. i had a gf on my Barb. Never found a wf.
