I got a Ber . So now what?

Okay, so some time back, way before the new expansion (that's what we called DLC back in the day), I got my first

Ber. My non-ladder characters are sitting on a pair of Bers now, but I've not yet figured out what I want to do with them yet.

But this is not about my non-ladder characters. I got my first

Ber in ladder. Now what do I do with it?

I have five active Ladder characters:

89 Sorceress (Pure Cold, TZ Farmer)
81 Paladin (Hammerdin, intending to respec Smiter for Ubers)
83 Amazon (Javazon, Cow/Summoner farmer)
20 Barbarian (Throwing and pretty well set on throwing shit holy fuck)
12 Warlock (No particular spec just yet, trying to figure out what to do with him)

I don't really mean to start other projects, but I've been getting a rediculous amount of Necro Gear which I intended to ignore, maybe I should start one?

Anyways, with all that in mind, what would you suggest I do with my first

Ber? Enigma would be fucking GREAT of course but that requires a

Jah I do not have. CoH would probably be fantastic on my Paladin, although I don't have the

Ist to complete it. Of course, I could break it into smaller runes (I do really need a

Vex or two for a HoO) or just get gear with it because the gearing isn't quite great yet... what do you all think?

when confronted with a similar question a few months ago, i opted for coh against common opinion of Enigma since sorc was my main
depends on your farming routine distribution and other gear. if sorc and cows zon > 60% i'd go for coh, if not consider saving for Enigma. summoner can be farmed with sorc. also depends how survivable you feel, if not at all, certainly opt for coh

Enigma will be used by paladin, warlock, amazon and barbarian.

I'd probably break it up and trade for other stuff. You can buy low rolled HotO and CTA fairly cheap. Do you have Anni, torches, etc. already?

Teleport Oskill? I mean, it's absolutely convienent, but i'm not too worried about mobility (it's probably for the best I don't play HC, I keep forgetting staffs of

Teleport)

Chains of Honor would be great when I switch my Hammerdin over to

Smite, and it wouldn't be that bad for the others (Except the Sorceress, who has the option of

Skin of the Vipermagi or a +3 Blizzard

Ormus Robes). I have a budget Black

Flail for him, but I want to build a Grief... and I have no

Lo.

You get the idea.

Getting annis and torches is probably high on list too, which leans into just breaking up the rune a few smaller runes and then into multiple annis and torches. They don't need to be perfect. Honestly, getting cheap versions of the appropriate torches and a decent anni or three might be the best idea.

I am sorry, but wouldn't you benefit greatly from an Infinity that you can keep switching on your mercs?

Sorceress, Amazon and Warlock (assuming you go fire, or fire spitting summon that I cannot remember the name of now) will pray for your ancestors if you give your merc an Infinity.

Conviction is not going to be that much help for her. Merc's currently sitting on an Insight/Cure/Treachery combo, although once I finally decide to wean myself off of 3x

As someone who also has multiple chars this ladder, i would say as long as you have a sorc, don't make Enigma! (until you're very rich)

I started the ladder with an ama for ubers and sorc, and the first

Ber i got (i sold a sorc torch, didn't drop it) i traded for 12

3x3 Keyset iirc which really kickstarted everything for me. That's what made the biggest difference for me more than any gear i could've made/bought. Selling each of the unid torches i got earned me runes almost double the

Ber's value

I've since made a warlock, my new uber farmer, and i've still not made Enigma bc i just don't need it honestly. I can do everything i need

Teleport for on my sorc, and for like tz farming, Hysteria +

Blade Warp is more than enough for my warlock. I would break it to smaller runes as much as it feels bad to do with a rune you dropped, and give each of your chars some nice things. Will your smiter really be that much more happy with Chains of Honor, or your sorc or ama with Infinity, vs each of your chars getting a nice

Smite hater tho, to me it's like the no-fun build you make to do one single thing in the game as efficiently and cheaply as possible to bring in income to your other chars that you actually enjoy playing My ama is this kinda char for me this ladder and in that spirit she's still using Treachery ^^

Ber for Enigma, but its all about what YOU need.
If you plan to make a necro, what kind of a necro? does not really matter as Enigma on a necro is always useful. Especially with summoner, god I love summoner with Enigma.

Ber is not a goal reached. There are multiple things you want it for (not CoH), and they all require more. You have to decide what you're saving up to get.

Infinity Ethereal

Thresher.

This requires a very valuable base as well as another

Ber. It's super useful on a merc and a massive power boost for lots of characters.

Infinity

Scythe/

Brandistock

This is a strong play at this point but it requires you to really commit to a

Nova sorc or trapsin (if you go

Brandistock). It's some of the strongest gear in the game. A

Nova sorc with an Infinity

Scythe is reeeaaally strong.

You might be able to buy a low -res version of this for 1x

Ber from someone who is rolling tons of them.

Enigma

This requires the most Wealth of any of the options. The warlock is an OP character with lots of great builds, but all of them require Engima.

The choice really comes down to what sounds like the most fun to play. If it's warlock, you need a
