New herald scared the bejesus out of me (also: did they change the rules?)
Just writing to say I... wasn't aware the Herald would just spawn out of thin air in front of me. I jumped out of the chair so quick that it reminded me of the Butcher jumpscares back in Diablo I. Thank goodness no one was around to see it.
Incidentally, are the triggers different now? Because heralds have appeared when normal monsters died instead of just unique ones. What are the criteria now?

Can be used to make Runewords:
they will spawn off any mob now. and yep got to watch for them coming down on you. LOL
They released patch 3.2 on Wednesday, and yes one of the changes was in regards to how Heralds spawn. You might have noticed all the threads in the forum that mention patch 3.2 in the title? (there's at least 4 on page 1 of the forums)
