I've done this a couple of times aswell , best to Summon Tainted while not moving, away from your character & Hephasto the Armorer & instantly Consume the Tainted

But yeah, would be nice if that got "idiotproofed" somehow.
On the plus side with demon count requiring hard points after the changes, they're at least removing the accidental hephasto kill from summoning your Consume demon with the wrong weapon set active.. babysteps.

Done it 4x now because my brain is a pile of shit when my gaming sessions go over 40h

Best method is to Consume for buff in town or locations which there wont be anything to aggro the summons.
For me it works best in town. I wait for a few seconds so heph or any binded demon to ‘calm’ down n stay put before summoning demons for consumptions.
Lately i have stopped consuming demons because i dont need the extra dps from it.
I however lost my heph and other good modifier binded demons a few times due to falling asleep behind the keyboard and/or while using sw2

I once poofed Bound Demon. I was trying different gear on Warlock , forgot to check skill points and to give Warlock demon skillers.
With 9 points in Demon mastery summoning Tainted instakilled bound bound one. It was really nice one.
