Description

Hi,
I lost my second paladin smiter (hardcore) to
Lilith, in another one shot.


Life : 2100 after bo
Res : 80/85/80/75 (overcaped)
Def : 19000
PDR : 30 % (
Fade proced)
Max block 75 %

My stuff was
Guillem
Grief
Exhile
Smoke (treatchery)
Verdungo 15%
Amu
Teleport
Gore Rider
Loh
Raven
Torch
...

There was adds with fanatism, but no cursed, i wasn t amped, see the picture.
I wasn t running, i teleported and smited

Is it normal to get one shot with such stuff, life and PDR ?

It mean she hitted me at like 3100-3500 before PDR ??????? wtf

Lilith attack ignore block/defense like doll explosion and harpy projectile?

fighting her with a barb and 3000 hp her attacks would take more than half my life pool, so 2000 damage (with a crit) seems possible...

You only had 1230 life. Looks like your BO didn't take. I use a BO barb and it sometimes takes many shouts before it takes effect. I've lost a HC smiter the same way to
Lilith.

Edit: My mistake, your BO no longer shows when you die. It still could have been that unless you know that you verified that your BO was in effect.

A bit late, but don't ever fight mini-ubers with
Fanaticism active. You'll have a bad time.

Even with 3.7k life after BO they still can knock off 1500+ hp easily. Also the projectiles the harpies shoot are deadly af.

With the harpies in there, it's also possible that you got amped 1 frame before
Lilith scored a crit on you so you never saw the amp.

The screenshot is after Death, most likely wont show the bo health anymore.
But ive also noticed that the bo's etc. barb buffs wont apply always and its quite annoying. Same goes to some warlock buffing, can
Consume demon for example and the buff wont appear or it wont refresh already worn buff timer.

Fanaticism more than doubles
Lilith's damage, who can already crit for well over 1k damage without
Fanaticism active. So a one shot is entirely possible in this situation with only 2100 life.

I was under bo 100 % sure

I mean, the game has its fair share of one hit
Ko methods which are almost unavoidable at times. Fought
Uber Baal with my paladin in nonladder first time and it almost clapped my pally. Though it was hammerdin, not a smiter. So im going to assume all the uber related creatures have some kind of close to one hit
Ko attacks, you know things which ignore its huge chunk of resistances and/or def or such.

+ what would be a lvl 10 fana from the mobs around here
= 1134-1247
As a crit, that'd be 2268-2494 so absolutely 1-shot territory at 2.1k life without significant phys reduction, with or without amp and not considering any add or poison dmg.
No bugs involved.

With your 30% red, that'd still be 1587 to 1745 which is close enough to where poison + adds hitting will look like a 1-shot even though it isn't.
Plus a last second amp will make it a 1-shot.

You really should stop fighting her with amping adds still alive, let alone fana'd or mighted amping adds.

Digging into Schnorki's numbers a bit and I'm even a bit surprised at how deadly that combination is. You're highly likely to get amped at some point and then it's not just the lucky crit that will get you, every hit is in one shot territory. This really reinforces my slow approach to her and getting everything cleared out before. I stopped the
Lilith quickies after my HC smiter got one-shotted by her.

Yes i think i ll clean her slowly taunting adds one by one now.

Chilling Armor, same as
Izual. Gets procced like crazy by echo locks. Just park your demon between you and
Baal and you're good as he'll soak up all of the armor projectiles.

Oh holy fudge! I had no idea it even had
Chilling Armor, im killing the ubers for a friend and these are first times doing these demons at all :'D
Thank you for that bit of info, now just to remember that. I was like wtf is killing me instantly as I begin attacking, now it all makes sense. Even said its hard to
Dodge something I cant see, absolutely hilarious.
