I've seen many builds that uses Pride to boost their displayed damage. But we all know that damage numbers don't always tell the full story. ES Warlock can easily obtain plenty of damage output that wipes out most things within one or two strikes, so QoL has more weight as far as I am concerned.
Question for the previous and current Pride users out there: Do you think Pride adds much to your build? Does it make your in-game life easier?
Some concerns I have seen:
- Pride has lower damage compared to other RW such as Insight, which means your merc leeches less, hence has weaker survivability. It would be annoying if your merc keeps dying in slightly tough situations.
- Pride can "replace curses with its blinding attack and freeze effect". Is this something actually noticeable? I sure want to keep the Amplify Damage curse from my Heph going without such interruption.
Please share your experience and Insight.
