Single Player here: just lost all my Chronicle... 49% Uniques, 78% Sets -- *poof*, all gone. A Goblin Toe dropped from an armor rack. As soon as I identified I thought to myself: oops! Checked the Chronicle: "Dropped by: [blank]"... so I had to verify and, sure enough, the Chronicle's empty now...
It won't prevent me from keeping playing the game, but it's really really annoying. I had already found a bunch of nice (rare) items...

I always try to focus when I click a rack and be aware if the item is green or Gold to just not IDing it. According to Blizz's post about it, they've already fixed it for online mode.
Offline mode requires a client patch for which the timing is still TBD.

Has anyone been able to confirm if the person who looted the item already has it registered, and identifies it, if others still get credit?
I think in situations like this I haven’t noticed the chat message go out to others in my party, but I’m not sure if it’s still registering for them or not.

Every item that drops tells me that's eligible even that I already have it. And not only for amulets and rings. Every Isenhart's Case appear eligible and I've found several of them. That's the same for all items, regardless I have it or not.
After ID-ing it, it won't have the glaring animation like a brand new item.

Offline, SP as well, and for me it's the same - but the patch only went live on the servers. For offline SP it will be applied with the next client update (so far I don't think there is an ETA on that yet). The Chronicle reset bug after ID'ing an item from a weapon or armor rack also hasn't been fixed offline yet, only on the servers (so don't identify anything from a rack yet!).Florian_G wrote: 23 hours agoOffline, SP here.

Surprisingly, yes.
A golden character glow for uniques.
Golden footsteps for sets.
And a golden town portal for runewords.
