It will. But did the devs have a choice? They wanted to sell Reign of the Warlock, not to give it for free (and that's reasonable; I'm not not arguing about it).

Paywall only the Warlock? No, the expansion is much more than just the new class.
Paywall everything (so, for example, a character without RotW couldn't pick up new items)? That'd be even worse, especially in a multiplayer game with economy.
So a new game more ("era") was the least worst option...

it will be okay. They just create a new time-line.

At least the current timeline in this d2r will be finalize. It will be classic without worry something bad going to happen. We will have a golden version stay right now.

The unable to pick up story is exactly d3 necro dlc did.

I am not sure what will they do in future if most player base stay in d2r and they want to release another dlc warlock v2 with wow style world. act6-10.
Or even worse, 50% here 50% there. if they continue to do max profit style, DLC both d2r and warlock, make it 4 different world...

Please be aware, all my trade is in non ladder d2r. Not warlock.

I am a hardcore player and I did play two runs in terrorized zones yesterday, one in the pits and one in the Catacombs. Some monsters were invisible, I could recognize them only because of the curse above their heads. Andarial I could not see but my Fury druid smacked her down anyway. So I stopped playing and did some invetory stuff instead. To risky as a hardcore player. I will check it out again later today. Probably some bugs have to be cleaned up.

I haven't heard anything about this, unless they come out and tell us I think you'll just have to assume that it's gone forever.

Apparently these jewels have the same limitation as

Annihilus,

Hellfire Torch and

Gheed's Fortune,

Wirt's Leg,

Horadric Cube etc etc: your char can only have one of them at any given time.

(Yet to be confirmed, though, don't put money on it lol. For the time being it's still hearsay, let's wait and see)

It's slightly different, you can only equip one of them at a time. But you can have several in inventory as I understood it.

D2R is nothing but a highly complex paper doll dress up simulator.

I've got 100+ crafted amulets (from cheap to gg). Let me know what you are looking for.

They are there still -- but only on non-RotW chars. Your "previous" SHARED stash is not converted with any chars;

Conversion only transfers the items from inventory and the character's PRIVATE stash.

So... have you converted all your chars and mules already? If you have, create a new NON-RotW character, he will be able to access all your three old shared tabs (one tab with three pages accessible using the buttons on the bottom). Stuff this new chat with items and convert him afterwards.

Repeat the process until all your shared items have been converted...

All council members in the Durance of hate were invisible. See the picture, the

Council Member is where the cursor is and my merc is fighting against him.

That will be interesting. I wonder if they had to implement/code this as a new feature... if they are willing to do that, perhaps they can find a solution to carrying more than one

Gheed's Fortune, for transfer/stashing purposes only (not for exploiting their effects on the inventory).

(btw, if I had to solve this issue of the Unique Charms, I would allow a character to PICK more than one specimen of these charms, but as long as he had more than one in the inventory and/or private stash, NONE would be effective. Just sharing an idea

I think it will be the other way around. I heard MrLlamaSC on his last night streaming that was a drop in chances to find items. I don't know if it's for runes too, but he was clear in favor of lowering chances. He even was ready to take the critics of players for that since he was a colaborator at RotW update.

Oh so make the chances of finding decent runes even more astronomical? The man's an idiot.

If I may suggest: in the runeword Coven, perhaps the two +MF stats could be added/displayed together? That's how the game displays it, of course.

There's a fixed +25% (due to the

Ist Rune) and the runeword itself rolls a +1 to +15%, so the final result in the item will be always +26-40% Increased MF.
