You're gonna record a video and have him coming at you claiming its fake/AI generated.ShadowHeart wrote: 1 hour agoI also never said that that's what you said. I interpreted you as saying that guest monsters were distributed differently than they are in D2R, and I tried to show you that they are not. When I made my little test, in all cases, the guest monsters did completely replace the original mob type in that area, in both D2R and LoD. I still have LoD installed, I can do it again and record a video for you if you want.Dragoneyes001 wrote: 4 hours agoI never said guest mobs didn't exist so the proof you laid out isn't exactly correct.
How it works in LoD right now is exactly how it is in D2R. I have LoD installed with the latest patch, I can record a video and show it to you.Dragoneyes001 wrote: 4 hours agoit's how they were at the time one was packs of added guests to the existing "Normal mobs" vs entirely replacing them as well as introducing some never seen in the places they are now.
Fair enough. I don't agree (I don't remember it as you do).Dragoneyes001 wrote: 4 hours agoas for Runes: I again Never said the Rarity of a particular Rune has changed I said the RARITY of RUNES themselves has DRASTICALLY changed.
No, you would never go a whole week without finding a single rune, that's a massive overexaggeration. I played D2 & LoD since release, and played it regularly all the way until 2012ish, and I'm well aware of high rune rarity back then (I found very few in all those years), but what you're saying about runes in general is not true. High runes were extremely rare originally, yes, but runes overall were not that rare. But again, believe what you will, it's impossible to prove this without actually doing hundreds or thousands of runs, and I don't have time for that. No point in arguing who remembers the best.Dragoneyes001 wrote: 4 hours agoin LOD to have a decent chance at high runes you and a friend would rush chars through to hell forge get drop delete char rinse repeat because runes were very rare drops. in D2R if you actually clear a location there is nearly a 100% chance of a rune having dropped. in LOD unless you did the forge you could literally go a week without seeing a rune drop those are not equal regardless of rune rarity by Ilvl
No, in LoD, the guest mobs do replace the normal mobs just like they do in D2R. Except for the minions surrounding a super unique that's always in the same area, like Shenk, those are never replaced. When I did my test before, the mobs in Bloody Foothills in LoD were a Thorned Hulk variant (Act 3 monster) and a Demon Imp variant (Act 5 monster, but they don't normally show up in Bloody Foothills except for Daq Farren and his minions halfway through). That was in LoD. The mobs surrounding Shenk were the usual guys, they always are. Again, I do have LoD installed, I can record a video for you.Dragoneyes001 wrote: 4 hours agogo ahead quote me saying guest mobs didn't exist in LOD :
I'll give you a perfect example in Shenk's field during LOD you had the mobs around shenk and the one who root attack ALWAYS from the town entrance to the stairs out of the area you'd get groups of guest mobs included.
in D2R the mobs around Shenk are the only place you see them if they are not the rotation mob same for the root attack mobs they can be completely absent (Shenks guards stay probably for some issue they didn't want to deal with like the game crashing post Death event stayed)
