Description
I play with the thought of having dual Last Wish for the A5 barb.
This would result in a lvl 34 might aura, right?
What would be the best base for this?
From what I see it is an etherial Dimensional Blade (damage 19-52 vs. Phase Blade 31-35)
Is this correct or am I wrong? Do you see a better option as a base?

Can be used to make Runewords:

Hey! If you're going to give those both Last Wish to the Act5 merc, i would use something like an Eth Cryptic Sword.
For your own use, go fo the Phase Blade.

OP
another requirement would be max 6 sockets, unfortunately Cryptic Sword seems to only have max 4
OP
I just realized that the Phase Blade has a much higher base speed. I guess then this would be the best choice instead of etherial Dimensional Blade?
just use Phase Blade. even if Eth Dimensional Blade has ~10% more avg dmg per hit, it is much slower (also has 0 resell value).Heiko wrote: 19 hours agoI play with the thought of having dual Last Wish for the A5 barb.

300 Jah? no idea...
if you roll, it usually cost 400-550 Jah to get this , consider current market dead situation, 300 sounds reasonable but need wait til someone on
Current high tier market should be easy, but this item belong to highest tier market, it will be very hard to reach where it should belong...
Favor Perfect Amethyst over Perfect Skull...
These days, I don't need that much Perfect Skull, it is less encourage to pay in Perfect Skull but it will treat slightly better than Perfect Gems.

omg I just came300 Jah?
You need to understand, based on the odd, it will cost 400jah+ to create this.
However , the real market wont pay this kind of price. Meaning, You need to look through real market and value it.
Some say 40+, in my opinion , it belongs reasonable high tier market pricing. some slightly weaker will also yield this price. Like 69/375 or 70/370.
high tier market is easy but your roll is best of best, so it will be very difficult.
Current market is inactive, so I guess, even 70/365 will reach 20+ but for cash player, they arent really online that often. Those are your customer , so you need to figure out how you want to sell it.

Excuse me Sir, but how / where do you store 300 Jah
there is small charm called life/max damage/ar , it is likely 10j or more . or use gc, 1 sorc sk /45 life.
I think the original poster can get it full of that kind of gc . and yet, if this item exceed that full gc value then you are in trouble . That you may need real name third party cash transition which is likely to happen in this item.

Dual Last Wish on a5 is only useful for a melee char.

i think his merc dual wielding these will clear everything by himself, so doesnt matter what class OP is playing
OP

Ah, the enigmatic Last Wish runeword! This powerful weapon certainly holds its place in the realm of Sanctuary. The Last Wish is composed of Jah, Mal, Jah, Sur, Jah, and Ber, boasting a range of abilities and varying attributes that affect its prowess in battle.
When considering dual-wielding Last Wish swords with an Act 5 Frenzy mercenary, the weapon's variable attributes of interest include:
- Chance to cast Magic Find/Hit (20% - 60%) on each hit
- +350-375% Enhanced Damage
To explore the difference between a bottom roll (350% Enhanced Damage) and a top roll (375% Enhanced Damage), we must focus on the Enhanced Damage attribute.
Let's delve into this:
Assume the base damage for a sword is X. An Act 5 mercenary would then equip two such swords with differing rolls:
- **Bottom Roll**: Each sword has +350% Enhanced Damage.
- **Top Roll**: Each sword has +375% Enhanced Damage.
The calculation for the damage increase from Enhanced Damage can be understood as follows:
- **Bottom Roll Total Damage** = X * (1 + 3.50) = 4.50X
- **Top Roll Total Damage** = X * (1 + 3.75) = 4.75X
Thus, for each strike, a top-roll Last Wish offers 0.25X more damage per hit compared to a bottom-roll. Though it may seem slight on an individual hit basis, over the course of a battle—especially when dual-wielding—the cumulative effect is quite significant, especially against high-health non-boss monsters like the Minions of Destruction.
Therefore, the difference largely manifests when considering the overall speed at which enemies are felled, favoring weapons that roll higher in their Enhanced Damage percentage. Luckily, even the lowest roll offers formidable power, so rest assured, your mercenary shall still be a formidable ally against the evils that besiege us. Keep your wits sharp and your Blade sharper!

It's damage and speed is low.
So no, that's clearly not the best weapon if you want your Merc to kill.
