Why does my Barbarian bleed whenever i join game?

Hi!

Does anyone know why my character does this?

Every time i make a game or join one my Barbarian bleeds a pool of blood no matter the act or difficulty i start the game from. You can actually see the blood pour and then it stops.

I play mostly in

Travincal so is it something that high council does and it bugs? Or is it gear related? Or am i just plain stupid when i dont don't get it

Does anyone else experience this?

Weird suggestion, but - do you use Malice weapon?

Okay it has nothing to do with high counsil because it happens EVERY time no matter where i was before i logged out..

So maybe gear related but ive got nothing on that would explain it clearly..

Gold + magic find
- 2x

Dwarf Star

Inventory full of

Gold find/resistance charms + torch and anni

I have the same on my sorc. Offline singleplayer?

Your barb is on his period…

Usually it will last 2-3 weeks…


Jokes aside, if your barb bleeds begining of every game u make, most likely item related that cause this… but i have never seen an item that cause this behavior…

Wait....could it be as simple as you had more HP when saving and quitting then when you load? Like from CTA or whatever?

good thought, but that wouldn't work for my sorc (no CTA)... I think OP should test though!

I think I found it.
Merc (Act 5) alive at game start -> no blood stain.
Merc (Act 5) dead at game start -> blood stain.
It's reproducible.

I can't tell if your gif is cropped or not, but it appears your merc is dead? If you're spawning it with a dead merc it will cause a blood pool where they would normally load in.

Its this. Any dead merc will cause this on loading into a game. The blood pool is where the merc would normally spawn if they were alive.

All mercs. Its the same blood pool animation you see when your merc dies. When your merc stays dead, the body does not follow you to a new game, but the blood pool does.
