If you are farming blue items, the easiest way is to gamble them in town. Get yourself a
Gold
Find barb for fast replenishment.
You can gamble with characters of specific levels to target desired items affixes.

I'm willing to accept other forms of currency. Like Tokens, Keys,
Perfect Gems
, and certain minor runes in lieu of my asking price. I'm also willing to accept rune combinations that add up to my asking price.

OP
Yeah but those items cannot be ethereal

You didn't share that bit of info in your original post.
If you're targeting yellow items you will want some MF. 150-200 for rare targeting. No magic find and you'll get a lot of base items.

Are you saying lower level characters may have better chances of getting better items than higher level characters? I understand on the "desired" features, as too high level requirement items can't be used by lower level characters, but general item usefulness gets determined mostly by a character type (physical vs. caster).

No, not a "better" chance of overall getting overall better items. But a better chance of getting a specific affix to roll by removing the potential of other affixes to roll.
We do the same thing when Farming Sojs on NM Andy. Hell Andy can drop every unique ring. But NM Andy can drop only Manald, Nagel, and Soj. So by farming an area than can drop certain rings, you increase your chance of dropping a Soj by eliminating the possibility of the other rolls.
You can do the same thing with gambling. If you have a specific affix you want. You can gamble with a character that is of high enough level to get it, but low enough to cut out other affixes that require a higher level to drop them.

More specific example: When I am crafting Blood Rings I gamble and craft with a character that is lvl 80-83. I do this because I personally do NOT want the "of the
Vampire
" (6% mana leech) suffix to roll as it has a alvl of 86 and can push the rlvl of the ring to 96. The affix with the highest alvl that I want is 77 (of the Lamprey - 6-8life leech). Which is why I gamble with a char between 80-83, to guarantee the ability to roll Of the Lamprey while removing the ability to roll Of the
Vampire
.

When gambling the item gets an ilvl of +4/-5 so:

76 < int(clvl/2) + int(ilvl/2) < 86

76 < int(clvl/2) + int((clvl - 5)/2) < 86
76 < int(clvl/2) + int((clvl + 4)/2) < 86

I'm willing to accept other forms of currency. Like Tokens, Keys,
Perfect Gems
, and certain minor runes in lieu of my asking price. I'm also willing to accept rune combinations that add up to my asking price.

No worries man. Yea, I saw your pic was ethereal but didn't realize that's what you were targeting since you only called out the 'godly' prefix in your post.

Just out of curiosity, why are you specifically looking for [ethereal] godly items? Is it a holy grail type of endeavor?

I don't know about OP, but I would pay many many
Jah
for an Ethereal Godly
Sacred Armor
of Self-Repair if Lazurk gave it two sockets. If it rolled with 200ed? I'd give many many 20/5 smalls charms for it.

I'm willing to accept other forms of currency. Like Tokens, Keys,
Perfect Gems

OP
Honestly my Dream item is probably
Colossus Blade
with a few sockets ethereal and rare but with 400% ed like botd

OP
And +2 freeze

Two sockets is max for any rare item.

I think you can even get 200ED
Eth
sacred one , but I doubt you can get 2 socket. isnt that 50 50 chance?
Makes it x2 of impossible chance. Or you can try to get 190+ ED
Eth
selrepair, it sounds like a thing.

I am not even sure it is good, even you get that all perfect vs 4 socket sacred life one.

Favor
Perfect Amethyst
over
Perfect Skull
...
These days, I don't need that much
Perfect Skull
, it is less encourage to pay in
Perfect Skull
but it will treat slightly better than
Perfect Gems
.

Correct. My example cannot drop with any sockets. But lazurk will have a 50/50 chance to give 2 sockets.

Edit: and yes, the godly prefix will roll from +101%-200%ed.
So
Eth
200ed with self-repair can drop.

I'm willing to accept other forms of currency. Like Tokens, Keys,

OP
If traderie is correct, then it can roll up to 440% ed and have self repair and socket for my
Colossus Blade
7
Your top-tier GG affixes are 40 IAS, 450 Ed (which is two affixes combined), max dmg and ar based on char level, 2os, and self repair. For the 2os it needs to drop with that. Lazurk can only give 1os for rares.
You want that
Eth
of course, but
Eth
isn't an affix.
