Recently,
I built full Light resist , life 160-180 low lv char vs diablo.
Kind of difficult to beat diablo in that low lv, level 4 assassin.
Diablo's light hose(red light) , in this build, it cant survive if eat full light but if move when it attack, this build can survive with life 80 remaining.
weapon choice Rixot's Keen, this weapon has cb in it. Swap , Crystal Sword 6os full poison 20.
This attempt fail because there is level plenty on accuracy, it will only like 5% hit chance to hit boss. remove around 20% hp then give up this play.

These days, I don't need that much Perfect Skull, it is less encourage to pay in Perfect Skull but it will treat slightly better than Perfect Gems.

Definitely still hard, but if you really want to complete this odd challenge for whatever reason, I would say choose a caster, as they don't have the AR and block issues(if you're staying with a sin then try trapsin, will be significantly easier than hitting diablo with you Rixot's Keen)
There's only one trap skill available at level <6, that's Fire Blast which require you to stand still and lob grenades at the target. Depending on the distance those grenades may take a really high arcing path and quite some time to land. Aiming with those arcs vs a highly mobile boss (Diablo rarely stays still for long when you're fighting him from range) would be challenging at best. I didn't realize there is level plenty until I hit one. My previous fight is bar lv 7 vs diablo. It passed so I think I might try something different.
And yes there is level plenty in lv 7 , just relative small because I was play barbarian , he has accuracy addition and the level is much higher than this time.
The other I can think of is play paladin, use +43 resist paladin shield 4os and make it to 250 hp, Resist Fire aura and lv 5, with that hit chance increase to 15-20% make it playable.

Cute idea.
As so often, Pally would probably be the fastest choice since they get Smite at lvl 1 and can hence actually hit him reliably.
Just side-step around a bit to avoid getting killed and you're good to go.
If done right, all of his damage can be avoided so res/life is a secondary concern really.
Casters wouldn't have the hit issues, sure, but their damage is also insanely low at those levels seeing how they can't generally abuse things like CB. So they'll just take forever by comparison.
