Just to confirm, since the items I selected are still available (or at least another copy of them), if I leave my initial build as is, it's still valid right? No need to repost it?

Yes, it’s still valid, no need to repost

All submissions are still valid by default, it’s just that if one item you had is no longer available and there’s no suitable replacement, I would count is as an unassigned gear slot if you didn’t update it yourself. (and you can still win a partial build, though the odds go down the less complete it is)
