This item can be useful early on to help followers meet the requirements for new weapons. While the Increased Chance of Blocking is largely wasted in this use case, the Increased Attack Speed and Faster Hit Recovery found on the armor can help a follower reach more favorable breakpoints.

The 25% Increased Chance of Blocking found on this armor is best-in-slot, beating out

Guardian Angel by 5%. For a character seeking maximum block chance, this bonus can constructively provide hundreds of life due to the dramatically reduced Dexterity requirement needed to maintain a 75% chance to block.

To illustrate, let us consider an Amazon wielding a Spirit

Monarch. Typically, a clvl 85 Amazon would need 287 Dexterity to maintain a 75% chance to block. However, the same Amazon wearing

Twitchthroe would only need 193 Dexterity to achieve the same result. Taking into account that each point in Vitality provides the Amazon with 3 life, the 25% Increased Chance of Blocking combined with the +10 Dexterity featured on the armor constructively amount to a "+312 to Life" modifier.
