Does the rest in Peace mod work when equipped to a merc? will it affect my

Death Sentry corspe explosion on my trapsin?

Well, the mod would apply to monsters that your Merc kills, so I guess yes is the answer. However I cannot understand why giving your Merc that weapon. An act 2 Merc with Insight, Obedience or the BiS Infinity would do wonders. To each his own I guess.

cannot afford Infinity, just starting ladder so i need something to deal with immunes.

dont have Enigma either so Insight isn't useful for trapsin
