Description

I'm so crappy now at least on countess: takes me 15 min. maybe 10 if I'm lucky. just to find the tower is hard. then finding the exit, using a
Frenzy
barb who needs to hit stuff to get more speed.

Travincal
: 2m can be 5 also if my merc dies being rushed by mobs.

not talking even about
Andariel
and all the other bosses, i'd so more than 15 min.
Chaos:maybe 10 if I'm lucky.

what did you do?
my
Travincal
is ok I guess but its boring..thinking of just doing bosses for fun, and hoping for the best..

In my opinion doing Countess/
Andariel
/
Mephisto
without
Teleport
is generally a waste of time, since it takes too long to get there.
I'm not rich enough to have Enigma yet, so that means I only run those places with my Sorceress.

With my other characters I mostly do Chaos,
Travincal
, WSK and other lvl 85 Areas.

As far as time, with my Fury Druid:
Chaos: ~ 5 min
Trav: ~ 1 min
WSK: a while

But the only reason I have the gear to do those places with any sort of speed is that I did tons of
Mephisto
&
Andariel
runs with my Sorc. The fact that you can stack tons of MF and FCR and
Teleport
to the boss makes it a far more efficient way of getting gear.

If your dead-set on doing Countess with a barb, make sure you know how to find the stairs quickly and just run past most mobs. Just hit a few monsters here or there to build up speed.

agreed, without effective teleporting, running Andy/Meph/LK online really are not optimal for what you have, aiming at somewhere easy and quick to access, so Trav, Pindle, Eldritch and Shenk are always good.

I'd say do whats fun to keep you playing, but there should also be a balance of grinding (since it is fun to get gg gear). Whatever works for you is best, but I would say recommend using tele sorc for bosses instead XD

I don't do trades for less than
Pul
. I accept T or H keys as well.

I have kind of horking barb... IK set, ravenfrost,
Concentrate
maxed... cheap barb torch... around 2
Ist
if you want to buy the whole equipment...
I run without mercenary... I'm able to keep him alive but I need to slow down each run and with my setup I don't really need his help on killing the council.
Can run
Travincal
in 2 minutes but I'm not so addicted and after 4-5 runs I need to do something else taking back my
Hydra
sorc...
Barbs are great on single targets when having lot of life and defence matter...

If you don't have any form of artificial speed (i.e.
Teleport
or at least
Charge
), then yeah, many standard farming zones will take significantly longer. Countess is a prime example.

At that stage, you're generally better off with destinations that don't take as much travel time relatively speaking. So that's things like Trav, Cows, Pits or Chaos Sanc.

Additionally, if your main factor is still travel time, make sure you familiarize yourself with map layouts and navigation within zones. It saves you tons of time even with
Teleport
but without it, the difference really is night and day. Simple examples include things like knowing that the trist portal is always nearby the road in
Stony Field
so you don't have to scan the entire zone. Cut an efficient path to where the road should be, then follow that. Similarly, pits is always at the end of one of the two road forks going backwards from
Outer Cloister
. And so on...
Knowing where to turn left or right makes all the difference.

I actually walk lk and tower and have found so far in items not from
The Countess
or the super chests
Gul
, gc I got
Ohm
Ist
for,
Eth
titans, 4 of my 5 found skillers. I have only been doing this for about a week at max 10 runs a day. Take a 5 min run into 20 and I find far more walking then speed running I believe.

The easiest way to gear up without
Teleport
is at Eldritch or
Pindleskin
. But I agree with the folks who said the best/easiest way to get gear is to roll an mf sorceress and use that to get a start on your other builds.

I mean, it can be boring. I played a trapsin as my main for about the first month, and it just took too long. To seriously chase the best gear, efficiency is absolutely essential.

I'd say a typical run on my mf sorc is about 30 minutes, which includes:
[edit]
It isn't that the sorc is better, she just has default access to
Teleport
. Any character can get to this point with Enigma. But you have to get to Enigma, so again, assuming solo, sorc is the logical best option to start.

All prices negotiable. BIN always wins. Americas (Pacific), but int'l trade times can be arranged.

i like
Naj's Puzzler
on swap as a budget TP item. it has
Teleport
charges, but they aren't super expensive, and who isn't swimming in gold?

All Prices Negotiable :-)

Just go for nilathak as barb. 1 times
Howl
and Nila stands alone. Then kill minions without worry about
Corpse Explosion
.
Nice density.
Optional Chaos and trav
