Trying tyo figure out what the best gloves are if you are running with Exile.
Everyones gonna yell dracs but if i have a 15% lifetap chance with Exile i dont NEED dracs. So wouldnt 20ias tri res gloves be the best in slot option? Or Blood Gloves with 20 ias 10 crushing blow str and res would be the best but those will be hard to find.

I for one dropped Drac's for Steelrend the second I got my Exile done and never looked back. Not sure there is a better option, unless you do really need that IAS for some odd reason.
Or ik gloves for the dex, which let you be able to put more vitality, than again sanders for the 40 life, but rare tri res would be a better choice, like if you find or gamble dex+tri res
A good pair of crafted Blood Gloves is probably the best bet, but another potentially overlooked couple of pieces would be Bloodfist, or Sander's Taboo. Both come with IAS (not that you need much of it, but some can come in handy) and +40 life. Bloodfist also comes with 30% FHR.
Otherwise Laying of Hands couldn't hurt for the +50% Fire res if you're lacking resistances (Exile doesn't have any natively, after all).

Been pondering this question myself.

Also if you're using the Smiter for doing Ubers, the %ED against demons works wonders for the final 20% or so of their HP (coupled with Grief).
I use my Smiter solely for Ubers, basically. Having tri res and LoH both wouldn't be a bad option as well, if you're using your smiter for other uses.

I was under the impression that the +350% damage to demons from Laying of Hands doesn't work on Smite? (since dmg+% doesn't apply to it in general) but if it does, then this is certainly another point in favor of LoH.
You're correct, it doesn't. Forgot to mention I have 1 point into Zeal as well for when they get low to finish them off.
It works really well in clearing out Travincal as well, with Zeal instead of Smite, even with one point. It's just not something I make a habit of running.
