Tomb Vipers Fixed in Patch 2.3

I always knew the Tomb vipers were bugged! This is from the official patch notes.

Huh, not sure how I feel. Those were practically a feature of the game at this point.

I think it's a great fix, there wasn't really any fun counterplay to it which isn't a very fun game mechanic.

Problems games create should be solvable beyond 'save and exit' or

Teleport away.

They were also applying damage for each frame you were stuck in hit recovery from them.. wonder if that's fixed now too.

Going to nuke the value of dkeys potentially tho

This will greatly reduce the cost of the D keys, now they are the EASIEST to farm. The only reason they were complicated was due to the need of having to use damage reduction gear (reducing damage output) and having to collect full rejuvenation potions to not die during very bad monster combinations (undead charging zombies, zuccubi and snakes).

Lets see how it plays out

Corpse Explosion around may still complicate a bit the situation. Perhaps the fastest not the easiest, per your reply.

Nature's Peace against Nili, but only one)

It will definitely be easiest and quickest for my Blizz sorc now.

Cold immune Nihl is annoying but doesn't take much time to reset. Still faster than Arcane/Countess on average.

Having to also reset for vipers and occasionally getting instagibbed made it MUCH more of a pain.

I feel like the day where dkeys will really drop in price is when they remove the 60s timer on creating games. I always end up messing around opening chests and tombs because after so much farming i instinctively know im still on the timer.

Now with easier snakes it should be even faster

Yup, no need to accumulate hard to obtain potions, took me 1 hr for 3 Dkeys (waiting on cooldown for a long time). It normally can take me much longer for

Terror Keys. But Hate keys are the most boring to obtain (except for the YAY chests).
