people don't need the best gear like Infinity to beat the game. the best gear is just there to make you feel super strong as you crush the content of the game. at that point when you have the best gear the game is over and you can take a well deserved vacation from the game. or play some pvp.

he's a spokesman most of all, and it's his job to produce content, but he isn't necessarily conscientious and passionate about producing the most accurate content.
not sure how long he's been playing d2, but it seems like he's relatively new to the scene but has done a lot of the research required to be competent enough. still not the elite-level knowledge that a lot of longtime players have.
