Description

Flayer Jungle
can sometimes be accessed directly from
Spider Forest
, but more often is found after passing through
Great Marsh

The area also contains an entrance to
Flayer Dungeon Level 1
, which leads eventually to
Flayer Dungeon Level 3
, where you're likely to go to find
Khalim's Brain
.

Number of elite pack spawns:
Normal: 1 - 2
Nightmare: 4 - 6
Hell: 10 - 15

Flayer Jungle
Runs

7
If you're doing
Flayer Jungle
runs, you should start from
Lower Kurast
waypoint for some reasons:
  1. It's more straight-forward: How often have you found yourself recognizing the gold at the end of
    Flayer Jungle
, just realizing that the waypoint has been in the middle and you should port all the way back or start a fresh game? Starting at
    Lower Kurast
gives you a clear start- and endpoint.
  2. You get a kill on
    Stormtree
superunique every run without having to look for the endpoint
  3. Lower Kurast
superchests at the campfires and armor stashs or weapon racks on the way are quiet rewarding and usualy take only a few seconds to discover
  4. You have an increased chance of finding an experience shrine and starting your run with it
